I have worked as a Science and Maths tutor (GCSE) for Progress Tutors for over 12 years. The Proprietor(Maria) carefully matches the tutor with the educational needs of a student and expects the tutor to deliver a high standard of service. She rewards hardworking, dedicated tutors by giving them work promptly. She is warm and respectful to tutors, students and clients.

I have worked for four tutorial agencies over the past 15 years and Maria has been the only one to match, patiently and sensitively, a tutor's knowledge and skills to each pupil's educational needs. On rare occasions, when necessary, she will act with skill and diplomacy as an intermediary between tutors and parents. In this and all other matters she is exceptionally professional.

Working for Progress is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The pupils I have been given to teach have been delightful. Year after year, it has been refreshing and encouraging to see well motivated pupils I have taught achieve such good results. I began working for Maria about five years ago after being recommended by the parents of one of my students, who were friends of hers.  I have always found Maria friendly and easy to deal with, and also helpful on the odd occasions when I have had problems with a client.  She takes trouble to ensure that the students she refers to me are suitable, and as a fulltime tutor I know that I can count on her to fill any spaces I have.  I am sometimes asked by parents if I can recommend a tutor for another subject.  I am happy to be able to tell them to ring Maria, confident that she will arrange a suitable tutor.
